If you pay your annual membership dues, yes! You're a member of PLMCA in good standing and one member of each household can vote in the general meetings. All residents are members of Pine Lake Manor neighborhood.
No, the PLMCA is a Civic Association, not an HOA (Home Owners Association). As such, the PLMCA purview is limited to beach management, and we do not get involved in private property issues or disputes.
PLMCA has a Board of Directors, Boat Club, Paddle Club, Mooring Committee, Social Committee, and Beach Committee, appointed through general election at a general meeting. Positions are all filled by neighbors in the community, who volunteer their time.
Just fill out the Association Form linked on the homepage with your contact information, and a member of the Board of Directors will reach out to you if you haven't been in contact already. Once you complete the form, you will be added to our mailing list and will receive updates on upcoming events and activities.
We organize a variety of social events throughout the year, including an annual "garage crawl", sandbar party, cocktail competition, holiday potlucks and picnics, and more! Our events are designed to bring our community together and are open to all members of Pine Lake Manor Civic Association.
There's a few ways! Join our "Pine Lake Manor Civic Association" Facebook page, update your contact information so you receive email communications, and regularly check back to our website homepage.
There is an annual application process every spring. If it's outside of that annual timeframe, email plmcaboatclub@gmail.com to express your interest and learn more! Please note that you must be a member in good standing of the PLMCA to be eligible.
You're eligible for a boat slip if you are a resident property owner or renter within Pine Lake Manor and are a member in good standing of PLMCA.
Members can request a second slip, but it's dependent on availability. If there are only enough slips to give each Boat Club member one slip, then second slips will not be available.
You can take a one season bye without losing seniority.
